In October 2025, Metadyne successfully deployed the X22M AMR at a Malaysian medical manufacturing facility, operating inside a regulated clean-environment production line. Developed in partnership with Dallas Robotic Inc., the X22M delivers contamination-controlled, high-precision material movement across real production workflows.
AI Navigation Built for Clean-Production Reality
The X22M integrates AI sensor fusion, combining safety-rated LiDAR with 3D vision to achieve precise localisation and smooth path planning. The robot consistently navigates real production environments with narrow aisles, operator stations and sensitive equipment, ensuring stable and traceable clean-zone logistics.
Clean-Environment Ready Engineering
Designed for medical GMP requirements, the X22M features smooth low-porosity surfaces, sealed electronics, low-particle-emission drive systems and minimal airflow disturbance. These characteristics enable safe autonomous operation around sterile components and controlled processes.
360° Safety and AI Smart Avoidance
Dual Safety LiDAR provides continuous 360-degree monitoring, adapting safety fields to speed, direction and load footprint. The AI avoidance system detects low objects, benches, carts and human presence—ensuring safe coexistence within high-density cleanrooms.
Modular Payloads for Medical Workflow Integration
Equipped with a stainless-steel clean-compatible trolley module, the X22M moves trays, totes and in-process products between assembly, inspection and packing stations with consistent docking accuracy.
The X22M has improved workflow cleanliness, reduced manual handling, enhanced operator ergonomics and stabilised cycle times—supporting reliable, GMP-compliant production flow in a real medical manufacturing environment.
